Holly Holliman

Holly Holliman has been a litigator for almost 20 years. She joined the Speights Law team in 2021. She specializes in divorce, custody, and family law cases. As a former prosecutor, Ms. Holliman thrives in a courtroom.

Holly is a native of Cobb County, Georgia. Prior to law school, Holly joined the Cobb Judicial Circuit as a victim advocate working with victims of crime to help them understand the legal process and gain restitution. Holly obtained her law degree from Georgia State University in 2006. Immediately after law school Holly became a prosecutor in Cherokee County, eventually rising to a Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney where she tried dozens of cases before juries to include murder, child molestation, sexual assault, and family violence for more than over 14 years. Holly later took a similar role in the Bartow and Gordon County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting crimes there before joining the Speights Law Firm.

As a prosecutor, Holly focused on crimes against children and aggressively fought to protect children from their abusers. Holly’s passion to advocate for children was a driving force behind her to transition to family law. A skilled negotiator, Holly works to achieve the best resolution for her clients whether through pretrial negotiations or in court.

Recently, Holly represented a father who was denied access to his daughter in a child custody battle. Despite court orders, the mother refused to comply with the parenting plan. After a lengthy cross examination of the mother, the court modified the parenting plan and awarded primary custody to the father. 

Holly enjoys family law because she can continue to use her voice and courtroom skills to advocate for children and others in need. Clients feel confident they are in the best of hands with Holly.
