Rachel Clark
With a deep-rooted passion for justice and an extensive background in both criminal defense and prosecution, Rachel Clark brings a unique perspective to the realm of family law litigation. For over 15 years, Rachel Clark has made it her career to advocate for the rights and welfare of children and families.
She began her academic journey at the University of North Alabama, where she obtained Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Public Communication. This foundational education provided her with a solid understanding of the intricate workings of our legal system and honed her communication skills – two critical elements in effective legal representation. Rachel pursued her legal education at the University of Georgia School of Law. Rachel gained invaluable trial and advocacy skills through participation in Moot Court and Mock Trial.
Rachel began her legal career as a staff attorney in Cobb State Court, where she gained invaluable experience navigating the complexities of the legal process. From there, she honed her courtroom skills at the Douglas District Attorney’s Office, serving the community for an extensive period from 2009 to 2016. As a prosecutor, she has tried more than 50 felony cases and is a relentless advocate in and out of the courtroom. Rachel was assigned to the Special Victim’s Unit and fought for children who were abused or neglected.
Rachel was in private practice from 2016 through 2019 where she represented clients in criminal law matters and handled some family law litigation. Rachel returned to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office in 2019. After her family relocated to Cherokee County in 2021, she joined the Cherokee District Attorney’s Office.
