
Amanda Speights
Amanda Speights is a co-founder and lead family law attorney at Speights Law, PC in Cherokee County. She is an experienced family law lawyer who handles an assortment of domestic cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, appeals and other types of litigation in the state of Georgia.
Amanda Speights graduated first in her law school class from John Marshall Law School. While is law school, she served as editor-in-chief of the John Marshall Law Journal. In addition, Ms. Speights received numerous awards and accolades in law school, including the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence (Class Valedictorian), Salomon Scholarship, and CALI Excellence for the Future Award.
Since she began practicing law in 2009, Amanda has argued and won cases before every court in Georgia, from the courts in Cherokee County to the Georgia Supreme Court.

She recently represented a client who was falsely accused of molesting his child by his wife. After the wife tried to forcibly remove her client from his home, Amanda Speights represented him through the divorce and child custody case that followed.
By proving in court that the wife fabricated the allegations, she was able to help the husband receive primary custody of his children and he is now able to actively participate in taking care of and making decisions for his children.
Amanda Speights states that the best part of her job is helping her clients resolve their family disputes in a way that provides the best resolution possible for families and their children.
